Founded in 1988 and initially concentrating on the manufacture of Agricultural conveyors and its associated equipment Digwoods soon found that their products were in great demand and it wasn’t long before their conveyors were being exported to countries on a global scale.

The acquisition of Adapta-Track Limited helped to increase their product range and they expanded their conveyor manufacture to include plate link belts that were predominantly used in applications for scrap and swarf removal.

Their expansion continued into the 21st century when they acquired Metal Belts Limited – a woven wire conveyor belt manufacturer based in St Helens.

Belt types currently manufactured include woven wire mesh, plate link, plastic modular and Honeycomb belting.

Digwoods are presently seen as one of Europe’s leading metal conveyor belt manufacturers and from their production facility located in Alveley, Shropshire in the UK they currently serve a multitude of industries on a global scale including the metal, textile, ceramic, recycling, glass, automotive, swarf and scrap removal, heat treatment, shrink wrapping and food processing sectors to name but a few.
